Supported the design and physical deployment of communication infrastructure for a smart city initiative. Our role encompassed equipment staging at our Falls Church facility, hardware configuration, stress testing, and coordinated field deployment across multiple locations.
The project involved deploying ruggedized networking equipment, edge computing hardware, and communication modules — all requiring precise configuration and extended burn-in testing before field installation. Our staging lab enabled remote access for the client’s engineering team to validate configurations prior to deployment.
Scope: Equipment receiving and inventory, hardware staging and configuration, 72-hour burn-in testing, packaging for field deployment, and logistics coordination.
Outcome: All hardware passed stress testing and was deployed to field locations with a 99.8% first-time success rate.
